Our Team

Western Immigration Opportunities Inc. is an immigration consulting and agency service for the PEI PNP which helps foreign nationals seeking to immigrate to Prince Edward Island, Canada.

Our team includes two licensed Chartered Professional Accountants and a practicing lawyer all with extensive experience with the PEI PNP.

Carrie Ricker, LLB  is a lawyer and member in good standing of the Law Society of PEI. Ms. Ricker has been assisting clients with immigration issues since 2009. She has been practicing law in PEI since 2014, having previously practiced in Nova Scotia since 2001. Ms. Ricker has been involved in advising clients in relation to the PEI PNP and providing governance and compliance advice in relation to Agent legal responsibilities. Ms. Ricker is highly knowledgeable of the policy, legal and ethical requirements of Agents and Applicants participating in the PEI PNP and is committed to the provision of conscientious, diligent, high quality, ethical services to all Western Immigration Opportunities Inc. clients.

Working with Island clients and Agents, Ms. Ricker also has established connections with the PEI business community and the immigration services sector. In addition to her immigration work, she provides legal and business advice to clients in various sectors including health, information technology, agriculture, arts and hospitality.

Bradley Handrahan has been connecting PNP program applicants with local business opportunities and helping clients to develop required business plans since 2004. Mr. Bradley and Mr. Handrahan have helped many PEI PNP participants identify, start and operate businesses in PEI.

As Island natives, Mr. Bradley and Mr. Handrahan are deeply connected to the PEI business community and the broader Island social networks. As highly qualified Chartered Professional Accountants working directly with local entrepreneurs and businesses, they understand the PEI economy including its opportunities and challenges. Mr. Bradley and Mr. Handrahan are especially knowledgeable in business, workforce, and population growth issues in Western PEI.
